Privacy policy
What Propbase collects, what it does not, and what happens to anything you send us.
The short version
The calculators run in your browser. The figures you type in are not sent to us or stored.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Who is responsible
Digevo Limited (company number 16415485), registered in England and Wales, is the data controller for propbase.co.uk. You can reach us at hello@propbase.co.uk.
Using the calculators
Prices, rents, loan amounts and every other figure you enter stay in your browser. They are not transmitted to our server and disappear when you close the tab. There is no account and nothing to sign up for.
If you email us
If you write to us we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, namely answering someone who has contacted us. We delete correspondence once the matter is closed, and in any case within 24 months.
How we count visits
We keep our own count of how many times each page is loaded, so we can tell which pages are useful. This runs on our own server and the data never leaves it.
What we record: the page address, the date and time, and the domain that referred you, for example google.com. Never the full referring address, because that can contain what you searched for.
What we do not record in this count: your IP address, any identifier, or any figure you type. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, and the result is a set of counts that are not linked to any person.
Hosting and server logs
The site runs on a server provided by Hostinger, which processes data on our behalf. The web server keeps standard access logs containing IP addresses, timestamps, requested pages and browser type. These exist for security and diagnosing faults and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information we will update this page and the date at the top.
